It is very surprising how children understand each and every thing happening around them and how those things constitute their personalities afterward. The more surprising thing is that parents seem to forget that they were once children and act in front of their kids as if they (kids) are not aware of anything. This is the core of the play in hand, Builder's daughters characters were very much affected by how their father used to treat their mother and them in such a cruel manner, a manner that ignores totally their own needs and kind of personalities. No wonder as they grew up they left their father's house to live their lives the way they want without anyone telling them what they must or must not do.The play depicts very well the parents' and the daughters' feelings.
