Exciting news--Midnight Crossing will be available just in time for summer reading! Review"Intrigue, mystery, romance! Set in the 1830’s England and France, Midnight Crossing, has everything to keep readers glued to the page. Shute’s exciting sequel continues to follow Alix Saint-Descoteaux as she tries to decide between her forgotten, ancestral home in France and the new life she has made for herself at Sterling Stables in England. Her growing attraction to her sister’s husband, Nicolas Griffon, doesn’t help matters, however, nor does a disturbing person from her past who stalks her. Shute delivers a thrilling ride in this unputdownable book that will have your heart racing before the end!"—Michelle Cox, author of the Henrietta and Inspector Howard seriesamazon link https://waa.ai/zh2f Reply

Really enjoyed the storyline and though it ended rather abruptly, I am looking forward to more by this author. I believe book two will be along the same story. Let's hope it is as well written. Reply
This book provides for a wonderful reading experience. If this is a first novel for you Ms/Mrs Shute, you have real talent. However, I was a little disappointed with the ending but since you I saw your comment of the upcoming Book 2, I feel much better! I am really looking forward to its release!!!! Reply
