The Legend of the glorious adventures of Tyl Ulenspiegel in the Land of Flanders and elsewhere. This is perhaps the most notable example of Belgian literature.Always joyous, sometimes mysterious and too often terrifying live and adventures of the national hero of Flanders Tyl Ulenspiegel and his faithful fat friend Lamme. As an envisagement of the horrors of the Spanish Inquisition this very anti-Catholic book is probably without parallel.

    Content good; voice terrible

The content is good of course, but the reading is deplorable with the highs and lows in the voice of the reader. It is almost a mockery.
