Where To Get Professional Help

Hopefully, this guide has given you some confidence and ideas to help stop the excessive barking your dog is guilty of. But I’m no professional expert in dog behaviour or psychology – I just have an interest in the subjects and have been a dog owner my entire life – and now a dog breeder.
If you feel you need more help, here is a list of where to get professional help for excessive dog barking:
- Your vet – usually the first place to ask for help, they can also recommend you to trainers in your area.
- The Animal Control and Training Council – they can help you find a registered, qualified dog trainer.
- The Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors – they also can help you find registered, qualified help.
- Online – you can always Google or search on Facebook for trainers and behaviourists, but I strongly recommend checking to see if they are registered with the councils listed above and are not scammers.
