How To Train Your Cat To Hunt

Has your cat starting to hunt more regular,

pounding on the toys as they were going in for the kill, raking their claws over your feet as if they are a piece of meat?

Hunting is a natural behavior for your cat. will they eat the prey?

Kittens when they are born will have the natural instincts to hunt in them. however, cats will not to eat their prey. Eating the prey is a taught behavior not one that is natural to a cat.

When you allow your cat to eat its prey this is not a good idea at all as a cat can contract some diseases from other animals. this in turn can cause death to the cat or large vet bills to have the cat become healthily again.

Kittens when are born they learn by playing to adjust the speed, coordination and learn the distant for the prey.

Mothers of kittens if allowed to will kill the prey and they will bring it home for the kittens to eat, with eventually bring it home partial that killed the pray for the kitten to learn how to finish the prey and eat it.

This is a very important factor indeed when you are Looking for a kitten to raise. if You were not going to have the kitten eat its prey then you would not want to get a kitten that has learned this very bad behavior.

If the kitten will come to a home will the intentions are to help hunt and kill prey then you will want to look over the mother as well as the kitten to find out just what type of behavior the mother has taught the kitten .

Some families that have farms are usually the ones that are looking for cats and kittens who can be good hunters. this help a pot to keep the population of mice down in the barn, feed rooms, and areas that attract many mice.

Cats and kittens that are good hunters that are allowed to eat their prey also need attention for balance meals as well.

You will want to feed them a very good healthy balanced meal with the vitamins that they will be missing from the prey.

Depending on the time of year you will want to offer some good healthy food also, as the prey population depletes some if has happened after adopting a pet cat and you See that it is eating the prey, you will need to be able to train the cat to not to eat the prey.

And the first thing, when you see the cat eating prey, remove it from them and give the cat food right away some type of meat for cats that will give your cat the healthy balance diet that they need.

And second thing, show the cat that you do not approve of the meal they have chosen to eat you don’t need to punish the cat for this, but just to let them know in future You do not approve of this.

Making sure that you have left Enough food down for the cat to eat so that they know they have something Eat most the time to eat.

Never allow your cat to eat off the table, not even scraps that are left over from meals.

This will not be a good healthy food diet for cats or kittens to start eating. but your cat or kitten needs to be having good vitamins and protein, for it to build up healthy bones, muscles and have good brains cells.

This can also lead a cat to hunt and eat the prey. if allowed then the training for the cat not to eat, the prey will be hard to do.
