Carol Jean Byron had a prolific career as an actress, but began as Princess of the Wistaria Festival at age 16 while studying at Pasadena City College. She graduated from high school in three years, which certainly highlights her intelligence. She continued piling on awards when she was named Miss Flower Maiden in 1955. She oversaw the Pasadena Flower Show and was signed by an agent. A decade later, she was frequently seen on television in The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, The George Gobel Show, and The Red Skelton Hour. She was iconic for being one of the few models who didn't wear makeup She currently lives in Big Bear City, California.
