Marie Katherine Icide (1925-1993) used the name Mary Icide throughout her acting career, but Katherine Cassidy during her modeling career. After appearances in The French Line (1953) and Son of Sinbad (1955), she realized that she could earn a lot more doing modeling. After Howard Hawks saw her in an issue of the magazine Life, he signed her with RKO Studios.
