Pamela Margaret Michaelson (1922-2002), who later married Clement Jayson and used his surname, studied acting at The Geller Workshop before starring in The Buster Keaton Story (1957) and Bundle of Joy (1956). She was on contract with the soon-to-be-defunct Parker-Rogers Productions and Nocturne Productions, with both studios promising her an immense buildup that never happened.
She had more success on television with appearances on The Tracer, The Great Gildersleeve, and Cavalcade of America. She was offered a recurring role in a planned television series titled Don Quixote co-starring John Carradine, but it was scrapped.
After rejecting a prominent role in Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? (1957) and canceling her plans to do summer stock in New England, she left acting and became a registered nurse while raising her three children. She is interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
