Perhaps the oddest pageant in history, Lola Mason was crowned Miss Frozen Rabbit Meat of 1957 and 1959 which she allegedly won by submitting a recipe for cooked rabbit.
Her duties were to persuade housewives to serve rabbit meat. She was born in New York City on July 21, 1940. She did bigger and better things though. She had a successful career on television with roles in Ironside, The Streets of San Francisco, Cannon, and Days of Our Lives. She was later crowned Miss Golden Girl by the New York Institute of Photography. Retired and unmarried, she lives in Los Angeles, California.
