Lois Mae Schaumburg (née Kiecker) (1933-2000) was one of those rare wed models who had a successful career. She left Saint Paul, Minnesota and the University of Minnesota -where she was a finalist for Homecoming Queen- to pursue an onscreen career on Queen for a Day. In her hometown, she was known as the model for Wheaties decades before Caitlyn Jenner took the gig. She died on January 6, 2000 at the age of 76, survived by her children and brother and predeceased by two prior husbands.
