Maureen Rose Stephenson (1924-1991) was an actress who immigrated from Canada after divorcing her husband. She got into the industry in 1953 after being crowned Princess of the International Flower Show. She then got a contract with RKO
Studios where she appeared in The French Line (1954) and Son of Sinbad (1955), among other great films. Her career subsided after a starring role as Ellen in The Wild Party (1956). She married Howard Leeds, the noteworthy television producer, whom she later divorced. She married twice thereafter, with both marriages ending in divorce.
