SPEAKING AND BELIEVING THE WORD OF GOD = WALKING IN THE SPIRIT

The Word Logos jumped out at me. I have read the meaning of Logos in my Strong’s Concordance many times, but now I had a revelation about this most important and KEY Word for the first time. Logos is the cornerstone, Logos is the key that unlocks the mysteries of God, Logos is Jesus Christ. Logos is the spoken Word, Logos is not the written word. I want to repeat it again, Logos is the spoken Word, Logos is not the written word.
IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE LOGOS (SPOKEN WORD), AND THE LOGOS (SPOKEN WORD) WAS WITH GOD, AND THE LOGOS (SPOKEN WORD) WAS GOD.
THE SAME WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD.
ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT ANYTHING MADE THAT WAS MADE.
IN HIM WAS LIFE; AND THE LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN.
AND THE LIGHT SHINETH IN DARKNESS; AND THE DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT NOT.

When we speak, it is a manifestation of our spirit life. God’s spoken Word is the physical manifestation of God’s Spirit in, to and on His creation. Fallen mankind can only speak death, darkness, lies, and selfishness, because fallen mankind has been contaminated by sin, fallen mankind will always speak who and what they are on the inside, fallen man will speak what is dwelling in their spirit man. However, God speaks only life and light and truth and love, God cannot speak opposite of who and what He is. Our spoken Word is the same as our spirit.
A GOOD MAN OUT OF THE TREASURE OF THE HEART BRINGETH FORTH GOOD THINGS: AND AN EVIL MAN OUT OF THE EVIL TREASURE BRINGETH FORTH EVIL THINGS.
MATTHEW 12:35
If we desire to transform into His image, we must begin speaking truth, light, life and love, we must begin Speaking God’s Word. Speaking God’s Word is the only way we can approach God and appropriate His promises. Jesus Christ (God’s Spoken Word) is the light that shines in darkness and the darkness cannot understand or comprehend Him because he is the opposite of darkness. Only the children of the light can comprehend Him and be transformed into His perfect image.
I AM THE “WAY”, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE; NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME.

Jesus Christ (the Logos or Spoken Word) is the only way or the only route to the Father. The children of darkness cannot comprehend or apprehend Jesus Christ; therefore, they reject Him (God’s Spoken Word) and they are lost and forever separated and wandering lost from the Father. However, the children of God walk the way Jesus walked and talk the way Jesus talked. Even as Jesus Christ is the manifestation of our Heavenly Father in the flesh, the children of God are the manifestation of Jesus Christ (God’s Spoken Word) in the flesh, but only if we speak the Word of God. There is no other entrée to the Father except by speaking and believing His Word. We must confess the LORD Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead.
Often times we know things intuitively. We know, but we do not understand how we know. Most of the time we acquire knowledge through experience, sometimes we have knowledge because someone we trust explains it to us and we believe them, and sometimes we just know. Intuition is when we know, without explanation or experience.
Intuition is the method the Holy Spirit uses to communicate to our spirit. Therefore, we can know something without being able to explain how we know something. If we trusted our intuition, we would stay out of a lot of trouble. Listening and being obedient to our intuition is all part of Walking in the Spirit.
I am reminded of the second temptation of Jesus Christ:
THEN THE DEVIL TAKETH HIM UP INTO THE HOLY CITY, AND SETTETH HIM ON A PINNACLE OF THE TEMPLE.
AND SAITH UNTO HIM, IF THOU BE THE SON OF GOD, CAST THYSELF DOWN: FOR IT IS WRITTEN, HE SHALL GIVE HIS ANGELS CHARGE CONCERNING THEE: AND IN THEIR HANDS THEY SHALL BEAR THEE UP, LEST AT ANY TIME THOU DASH THY FOOT AGAINST A STONE.
JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN, THOU SHALT NOT TEMPT (TEST) THE LORD THY GOD.
MATTHEW 4:5-7
Could not the LORD Jesus Christ, who walked on the water and raised the dead, have jumped off the pinnacle without harm?
I dare say he could have, but then Jesus would have been disobedient to the intuition that God gave to all of us for our safety. One of the reasons that Jesus Walked in the Spirit was because he trusted and obeyed his intuition. He listened to his intuition and did what he knew was right, all the time!
Our Intuition and our conscience are the sensing methods the Holy Spirit uses to communicate to our spirit. Our Intuition and conscience is how the Holy Spirit leads us towards God and Life and away from Hell and Death. Intuition and conscience are spiritual senses similar to our physical senses: sight, sound, taste, smell and touch, but the intuition and conscience are Spirit senses. There is a difficulty with this type of communication. We can intuitively know that something is wrong or right but we cannot explain how or why we know.
Intuition is how God communicates to our spirit, we have to simply trust and obey. A person who intuitively knows a thing can no more explain it to a person that does not use their intuition, than a sighted person can explain the colors red and blue to a person who has been blind all their life. The main difficulty with our intuition and conscience is that we can ignore using them and eventually they will cease to work. This is similar to someone who has been bedridden for a long period of time; if their feet and leg muscles are not exercised, eventually their muscles will atrophy and they will lose their ability to walk. Listen to what the Apostle Paul had to say about this:
NOW THE SPIRIT SPEAKETH EXPRESSLY, THAT IN THE LATTER TIMES SOME SHALL DEPART FROM THE FAITH, GIVING HEED TO SEDUCING (DECEIVING) SPIRITS, AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS;
SPEAKING LIES IN HYPOCRISY; HAVING THEIR “CONSCIENCE” SEARED WITH A HOT IRON;
FORBIDDING TO MARRY, AND COMMANDING TO ABSTAIN FROM MEATS (FOODS), WHICH GOD HATH CREATED TO BE RECEIVED WITH THANKSGIVING OF THEM WHICH BELIEVE AND KNOW THE TRUTH. (I TIMOTHY 4:1-3)
If you continually ignore your conscience, it will eventually stop working. The Apostle Paul compares it to having a part of your body seared with a hot iron. Imagine searing your eyes, ears, nose, or tongue with a hot iron. It would such cause great damage to these sense organs and they would become forever useless. That is why it becomes progressively harder for someone to be saved after years of hearing the gospel. It is not impossible because God can miraculously cause the blind to see and He can miraculously cause the deaf to hear. God can also miraculously save those who everyone else would believe were hopelessly lost sinners.
We can repair a damaged conscience by speaking God’s Word to ourselves. The sensitivity we once possessed as children can be ours again. After we begin Walking in the Spirit, our conscience will gradually become more and more sensitive to the Holy Spirit. We will begin to desire the right things again and the wrong things will give us a feeling of dread. Our desires will begin to align with God’s perfect will for our life.
Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the spoken WORD OF GOD. See Romans 10:17. You will never hear the Word of God prior to being saved unless somebody speaks it to you. Your loved ones will never be saved unless you or somebody else speaks God’s Word to them. People are not saved by mans wisdom or by clever arguments, people are saved by hearing God’s living, spoken Word! You will not become a mature Christian and you will be of no value to the Kingdom of God unless you believe and speak the Word of God.
Mankind was created in the image of God. We have God’s attributes. Being saved is the easy part for us, even though being saved requires a miracle from God. As a matter of fact, Jesus has already done all the work for our salvation, but maturing into an adult Christian takes some work. In order to be saved, all we have to do is hear the gospel and accept the saving work of Jesus on the cross at Calvary, confess Jesus is LORD, and believe that God has raised Him from the dead. See Romans 10:9.
In the Spirit dimension, immediately after being saved, we become spiritual newborn babies. Maturing in the spirit dimension takes time, just like maturing in the physical dimension takes time. After being saved, we are still greatly limited by our physical bodies. Most importantly, we are severely limited by the memory of our past sinful natures and our past sin filled life. Sin has made us spiritual cripples. Actually, the Bible says sin made us spiritually dead, our spirits were totally separated from the Spirit of God until our salvation. The Spirit of God created physical reality by the spoken Word. We can also re-create our physical realty by speaking God’s Word.

The Apostle Paul explained creative faith in the Book of Hebrews.
NOW FAITH IS THE “SUBSTANCE” OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.
FOR BY IT THE ELDERS OBTAINED A GOOD REPORT.
THROUGH FAITH WE UNDERSTAND THAT THE WORLDS WERE FRAMED BY THE WORD OF GOD, SO THAT THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN WERE NOT MADE OF THINGS WHICH DO APPEAR.
HEBREWS 11:1-3

We understand from the Bible that speaking God’s Word and mixing His Word with faith is what makes his Word become real in the physical world, not only for God, but for us. God always has faith because He knows that whatever He speaks will come to pass. Throughout eternity God spoke and what He has spoken has come to pass. God knows the end from the beginning. God does not doubt His own Word because He never has reason to.
Do you know there is something God cannot do?
You might say, “Hold on, God can do anything!” No, there is one thing God cannot do. God cannot lie!
