CONCLUSION

Mankind is very unique. Unfortunately, familiarity breeds contempt. We spend so much time being around other people that we tend to discount each individual’s importance in God’s grand scheme. According to the Bible, if we overcome, we will rule and reign with Jesus Christ in the heavens and on the earth for all eternity. I believe there are literally multitudes of angels and devils for every human ever born on the earth. Each person on the earth is a literal battlefield with a host of angels and devils battling for each soul. If we can intentionally begin agreeing with the Word of God, we can turn the tide of battle not only in our own favor but in the favor of everyone around us.

I am a member of an Indian Tribe that owns a casino. When I was attending law school another law student asked me if I felt bad when I saw some old person dragging around an oxygen tank from slot machine to slot machine. I said, “No, when a person has one bad habit, they usually have a lot of other bad habits to go along with it.” You usually won’t find a heavy smoker that does not drink, or gamble, or doesn’t pursue a lot of other self-destructive behaviors. If they are not literally possessed by demons, they are probably heavily influenced by devils.

Conversely, if you are a Christian, you can ask for God’s angels to defend you from sickness, poverty, and any other enemies, human or spiritual, that might be coming against you. The problem with most people, even Christians, is that they do not realize they are involved in a spiritual battle every moment of their lives. Once you realize who and what you are, you can begin to cause the tide of battle to turn in your favor by speaking, hearing, and believing with the Word of God.

Now I am going to tell you how to turbo-charge your spiritual life. The most important thing you can do is start searching out other mature Christians. You need to find people who are like minded with you. You need to find people who also memorize the scriptures because they believe the Word of God. If you cannot find another mature Christian, ask God to send you one, or convert someone, but find somebody.

AGAIN I SAY UNTO YOU, THAT IF TWO OF YOU SHALL AGREE ON EARTH AS TOUCHING ANY THING THAT THEY SHALL ASK, IT SHALL BE DONE FOR THEM OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN.

MATTHEW 18:20

Two mature Christians are truly an irresistible force. That is why it is so important NOT to be unevenly yoked with unbelievers. An unbelieving spouse, business partner, friend, doctor, or lawyer can literally kill you. I am not saying dump your spouse if they are not a Christian, I am afraid you are stuck with them, but that doesn’t mean you should not try to convert them.

If you have a believing spouse, or business partner, or friend, or relative, you should cherish them. How do you know whether someone is a mature Christian? They will know and believe the Word of God!

Two believers together are exponentially more powerful than one believer alone. That is why God has ordained a husband and wife to raise children. That is why Jesus sent out His disciples two by two. That is why the Apostle Paul evangelized with a partner. That is why pastors should have an associate pastor. Every person needs somebody to share their ideas and troubles with. Every person should have a prayer partner.

Moses had Aaron, Barak had Deborah, Ruth had Naomi, Esther had Mordecai, David had Jonathan, Paul had Silas and Barnabus, there are two witnesses in the Book of Revelation, it appears that even Jesus had Peter, James and John. It will become ever more important to have other mature believers around you as the final days arrive upon the earth.

AND LET US CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER TO PROVOKE UNTO LOVE AND TO GOOD WORKS:

NOT FORSAKING THE ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER, AS THE MANNER OF SOME IS; BUT EXHORTING ONE ANOTHER: AND SO MUCH THE MORE, AS YE SEE THE DAY APPROACHING.

HEBREWS 10:24-25

There are a lot of good Churches all over the world that are full of mature Christians.  There are also a lot of bad Churches full of unbelievers. How do you tell the difference?  Good Churches know and believe the Word of God! Mature Christians “consider” one another to provoke each other unto love and good works.

CONSIDER.  2657. Kat-an—o-eh’-oh; to observe fully; - behold, consider, discover, perceive.  (The New Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, James Strong, LL.D., S.T.D., Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1984.)

A mature Christian will take an interest in everybody around them. A mature Christian is always looking to serve others. A mature Christian wants to edify the Church. If you have attended a Church for years and you have not taken the time to know anybody and nobody has taken the time to know you, you are in trouble. Some people go to a church for their children’s sake, or to socialize, or to find business contacts, or because their family has always attended that church. Do not be one of those people.

You want to attend a church because attending edifies your spirit and you can edify other believer’s spirits. You want to attend a church because you are seeking the kingdom of God. When you are intimate with a group of mature Christians and you are all seeking the kingdom of God together, everything else will fall into place.

BUT SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU.

MATTHEW 6:33

We are fast approaching the second coming of Jesus Christ. There are more people alive today than have ever lived throughout all the rest of earth’s history. It is projected that the earth’s population will reach seven billion by 2012. It is also projected within a few short years billions of people will have internet access via mobile internet devices (mib’s). The Book of Daniel predicted that knowledge would increase at the time of the end.

BUT THOU, O DANIEL, SHUT UP THE WORDS, AND SEAL THE BOOK, EVEN TO THE TIME OF THE END: MANY SHALL RUN TO AND FRO, AND KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE INCREASED.

DANIEL 12:4

Both Chapters 24 and 25 in the Book of Matthew are devoted to Jesus speaking about His second coming. He describes two different types of Christians in the last days, the wise and the evil. The wise servant is watching for His coming, but the evil servant is spiritually asleep. We do not want to be like the foolish virgins with no oil in our lamp.  Oil has always represented the Holy Spirit in the Bible.

The Holy Spirit causes our light to shine in a dark and despairing world. It is our duty to make sure our lamp is full of oil.  How do we fill our lamp with oil?  We need to speak God’s Word. We need to hear God’s Word. We need to believe God’s Word. The foolish virgins obviously did not believe the Lord when He told them He was coming back for them, and they did not prepare for His arrival.

Russell H. Conwell, the founder of Temple University, wrote a sermon called Acres of Diamonds. It is free on the internet if you have an e-book. His sermon tells us that we do not have to travel the world to find riches. Great wealth and opportunity are all around us if we have eyes to see. Truly, all around us are riches that will abound to our credit for all eternity. All we have to do is open our eyes, and start gathering our treasure as God directs us.

AND THEY THAT BE WISE SHALL SHINE AS THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE FIRMAMENT; AND THEY THAT TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS AS THE STARS FOR EVER AND EVER.

DANIEL 12:3

If by some chance, you have read this book and have not given your life to Jesus Christ, it is truly the easiest thing in the world.

1)  Publically confess the LORD Jesus Christ, and

2) Believe that God has raised Him from the dead.  See Romans 10:9

Then find other believers that believe the Word of God. Ask to be baptized to illustrate your death and resurrection with Jesus Christ. See Romans 6:4. You are born again! Start studying God’s Word. Start speaking God’s Word. Start believing God’s Word. Do not let anybody rob you of all the riches that are yours in Jesus Christ. You have health, you have wealth, you have wisdom, you have authority and you have Jesus Christ living within you.

THEREFORE LET NO MAN GLORY IN MEN.  FOR ALL THINGS ARE YOURS;

WHETHER PAUL, OR APOLLOS, OR CEPHAS, OR THE WORLD, OR LIFE, OR DEATH, OR THINGS PRESENT, OR THINGS TO COME; ALL ARE YOURS;

AND YE ARE CHRISTS; AND CHRIST IS GODS.

I CORINTHIANS 3:21-23

I have listed 101 verses that you should memorize to prepare you to become a mature Christian, but you should not stop there. You should memorize at least one new scripture every week. Usually when I am reading the Bible, a scripture verse will jump out at me and I know that I should memorize it. I mark it down and begin the process I have outlined in this book by repeating it over and over until it is stored up in my mind.  Often times it is exactly the Word that I will need sometime in the near future. God will always prepare us for the spiritual battle that is ahead by giving us His perfect Word, and He will prepare us for every battle if we will only listen and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
