RAGE OF HUNGER
I have been dwelling in a dream of you
Trying to hold onto your beauty
Before your loveliness takes flight
And returns to the home of dreams,
A distant land where I yet cannot go.
Love turned a fiery eye to him
And a cold eye to me.
To be left as a man chained before a banquet
In a rage of hunger burning,
While another feasted before me
Dining like a lord in this cruel kingdom.
