VOYAGER
My heart is a voyager seeking a dream
Lost in the murky waters of time,
Always pursued by this hidden thing,
Always following at my back,
Weighing upon the hours of my desire and
Dampening the embers of my striving.
My freedom is denied by an unknown stalker
And a claim made upon me by a mystery
Beyond resolution.
Understanding is lost in this hour,
For yesterday has died,
And tomorrow will not be born.
