FOR A FEMINIST
Nature’s footsteps dwell in both our souls,
Ancient channels etched deep
On the watercourse of time.
A mutual mystery often obscured
In this hectic quest,
But in this moment now reborn
To confront us.
Out of the same sea we were born
And to the same timeless mother return.
Human truth is a law of nature
That compels us to laugh or mourn,
And gives us a clear choice:
Either to nurture our darkness,
Or constantly be reborn.
