THE QUEEN OF WANDS

“The Queen of the Thrones of Flame”

Pisces - Aries

Water of Fire

DESCRIPTION AND SYMBOLISM

The alluring Queen of Wands sits on her throne holding her flowering wand of authority in one hand and a sunflower in her other. Upon her head and gracing her perfectly styled hair sits a gold crown topped in a leafy pattern. The back of her throne is decorated with images of lions and sunflowers and extends upwards into the infinite sky. Her royal robes are free of all adornment and reflect her simplicity and purity of character. To the left and right of her throne are carved the images of lion’s heads, one of which gazes upwards at her with a single baleful eye. Her visage is open and inviting but a somewhat sinister black cat stands before her throne. Cats  were sacred to Isis, the mother  Goddess of the ancient Egyptians and this feline symbolizes that within her  fiery personality also dwells something potentially sinister which may be unleashed upon those who may seek to threaten her or that the fiery creative power within her may be used for either good or evil ends.

ASTROLOGICAL CORRESPONDENCE

Her inner union with the spiritual waters of imagination that reside in Pisces and the fiery solar power of the creative will symbolized by Aries gives this mighty Queen the power and enduring energy to accomplish what she sets out to do.

WATER OF FIRE

As Water of Fire, this alluring Queen combines strength of emotion and spiritual vision with the power of an energetic and purposeful will. She is loving, practical, gracious, fertile and self assured woman and prospers through an adaptable, tough and independent approach in all her dealings. She maintains the balance of heart and mind and through her vision and imagination realizes the dreams that dwell within her heart.

ORACLES

When the Queen of Wands appears she may indicate yourself, another person close to you, someone who may enter your life, an aspect of your own personality or an aspect of yourself that needs to be recognized, developed or asserted. She may also represent a situation that you may find yourself in.

When Appearing Upright in a Reading

This Queen represents a self confident, honest and generous woman who is of sound judgment, is practical and kind, and is capable of intelligent thought and action. She has great inner strength and leads an energetic, self determined and independent life. She has a love of home and the power to attract what she wants, is fruitful in mind and body, and  has a  deep  love of Nature and all growing things. The Queen is a charismatic woman who is well liked and honorable, shrewd in personal and financial affairs, correct in her judgments and successful in  personal and business matters.

When Appearing Reversed in a Reading

This Queen signifies a cold and domineering woman who is prone to jealousy, may be abusive, and is inclined to be stubborn, self righteous and narrow minded. She can be obstinate and vengeful and can suddenly turn against others without reason or any just cause. As a woman, she is egotistical and inconsiderate of others and allows her loved ones no emotional independence. If they try to rebel and assert their independence she resorts to emotional blackmail to keep them dependent on her. She is prone to deceit and can be unfaithful to her lover or spouse.

THE TREE OF LIFE
