OVERVIEW
Data entry involves inputting data (alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic) into a company’s computer or file system. The work may also require you to verify and/or edit data as it is entered. Data entry is a general term that is often referred to a number of different jobs that fall under the umbrella of data entry.
