This is an effort to avoid stating the truth about how democratic governments are all that stand between a return to the tyranny of the right-wing monarchs, militarists, theocrats, and the class/caste divisions they need to exist for their survival. Elites use mercantalism to employ soldiers willing to murder leftists, scholars and intellectuals for money. It's the intelligent, educated people who promoted the leftward advances mankind has made over the last few centuries. You, otoh, lie by conflating Stalinism with egalitarianism.
