Voluntary work can help you get a Second Year Visa if you’re on a Working holiday visa, depending on the state where you are and on your field of work. To extend your visa to a second year, you’ll need to find what is called “specified work”.
You’ll need to complete three months (or 88 days) worth of specified work in a regional area of Australia. The easiest work to find will be fruit picking, farm work or horticultural work.
