ACT IV, SCENE 2: A Branch of Victory

The short second scene of Act IV functions as a plot device simply to mark the passage of time. In it Jacques and some lords are hunting deer, and Jacques ask the lords to sing a victory song after one of them has successfully killed one of their prey. The song is a musical interlude. The next scene takes place several hours after the previous scene.
