she cannot satisfy his feelings by pretending to be Rosalind any longer. Ganymede the man cannot marry Orlando or have sexual intercourse with him.

Orlando responds that the false Rosalind can no longer satisfy him. Rosalind has determined that Orlando has passed her test: she knows that his love for her is true and genuine. So, she tells him that she has some magical powers and that she will produce Rosalind the following day so that he can marry her. Orlando finds Rosalind’s words difficult to believe, but Rosalind swears to him that she can fulfill her promise.
