ACT II, SCENE 6: Farewell, Kind Master

Orlando and Adam have arrived at the edge of the Ardenne Forest. Poor old Adam – he is over eighty years of age – is too tired and hungry to walk another step further; and he tells Orlando that he feels like he is ready to die. Orlando bids the trusty servant to sit down and rest while he goes further into the forest to find something for both of them to eat.
