DIALOGIC STYLE

The reader should also make note of the dialogic and semiotic relationship in the play. This relationship occurs, as noted above, during the two kneeling scenes (when Othello & Iago kneel in Act III, 3, and when Desdemona kneels in Act IV, 2). Shakespeare creates similar relationships in several other plays (such as Macbeth).
