Owner of Moviechat is Jim Smith. This guy is a ruthless businessman and will do anything to make his business successful.
He deliberately sabotages other competitors. He steals their ideas. He is quick and most of the things he has done to his website are great.
Problem?
Terrible group of people controlling the site. Terrible human moderation. Only a select group of people are allowed to post there. A few geeky nerds control everything, and they are the mods! They won't allow new users in. They won't let anyone post without saying how those new users are trolls. The moderators are against free speech. They play favors to the 'established members'. Pretty much like any human moderated website, right? This site will die.
Solution: Automated moderation like IMDb messageboards (RIP)
