Fiverr has just switched to a much improved V2 layout, however registering
remains pretty much the same and is very easy to do. Indeed if you already have
a Facebook account then you can login with just one click!
Even if you have to register the process is very simple all you need is a valid
email address (Note! This needs to be your paypal email AND one that you can
always access as you cannot change the email at a later date, so never use a work
email but always a personal one), choose a user name (Also see above – this
should strongly reflect what you are going to sell, you can’t change it later and it
will effect your sales e.g. a relevant username will inspire confidence and
increase sales), and pick a password.
That’s all that you need to register you do not even need to give your real name
or your address, so what more could be simpler? They make it as easy as
possible for you to register and get started.
All you will need to do is agree to their terms of service, which I highly
recommend you read, digest and make sure you understand as if not you could
find yourself banned from fiverr.
NOTE: When you register your country flag will be displayed alongside your
name and you will find that if you are registered in the USA for whatever reason
(Some people just don’t like buying from eastern Europe or India – I can’t help
with the prejudice that some people have) you will get more sales. However it
allocates the country flag automatically when you register. So therefore I
recommend going through a USA proxy server to register, this should then result
in a USA flag displaying against your name. You can do this very easily by
registering via a USA proxy server – there are many free ones to use on the
Internet, but I recommend “Hidemyass.com”.
