Book Description HTML

Databases are crucial for managing and utilising data effectively in various industries and applications. The aim of this book is to enable the reader to review data that they may come across in their daily lives e.g., vaccine trials and be able to evaluate the usefulness and the provenance of the data being provided. Databases about football competitions, protein sequences and DNA, the UK’s electoral system, and the OCDS, an international data standard, are discussed with data models, data tables, a complete worked example, and two XML schemas.
