CHIOMA (CONT’D) (smiles)

I’m a happy feminist, like Chimamanda would say.

Emeka doesn’t seem to catch on.

EMEKA (squints)

Who’s Chimamanda?

CHIOMA

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She’s an international bestselling and award-winning writer.

EMEKA

How come I haven’t heard of her?

CHIOMA

Have you watched the movie, ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’?

EMEKA

Yeah, the one with the Nigerian guy from ‘Twelve years a slave’. I watched it at the Cinemas.

CHIOMA

Yeah. It’s an adaptation of her bestselling book with the same title.

CHIOMA (CONT’D)

Look at you, you don’t even know the name of the star actor of the movie.

(mimics Emeka)

The Nigerian guy from ‘Twelve years a slave’.

CHIOMA (CONT’D)

He has a name, you know?

Emeka laughs. We can see Uche, who is looking back at the pair. His face changes from a SMILE to a FROWN as he sees Chioma and Emeka laughing really hard, and touching each other with every single chance they get.

CHIOMA (CONT’D)

What do you even know except from making money?

EMEKA

What do I know except from making money?
