Bryan Murphy is an Anglo-Irish globetrotter. He has worked as a fruit-picker, kitchen hand, road-sweeper, bar-tender, wages clerk, teacher of English as a foreign language, translator and copy-editor. He recently retired from a post within the United Nations system and now divides his time among England, Italy, Portugal and cyberspace.
A writer of speculative fiction, historical fiction, psychological drama, poetry and short plays, he is best known as the author of the novel Revolution Number One (under the pen name Zin Murphy) and the Sean Linehan series of short e-books.

His short play, Bar Londra, is in the repertory of the Turin Theatre Company. In the last decade, he has appeared as an actor in both plays and films.
