Ezra nodded her head in disagreement.
Joelle smiled and hailed a taxi. As they got in
the taxi, the song by Joonmy was playing. Ezra
looks at Joelle with a grin.
“Where to?” The man asked.
“Tokki Cafe on 5th and 22nd.” Ezra directed.
Joelle looked away as to ignore Ezra.
“That’s your song Joelle. From the journal he
stole from you.” Ezra said.
“He didn’t steal it. I left it where he could find it.”
Joelle explained.
“Whatever! It’s still yours.” Ezra countered.
Joelle nodded and smiled.
“You deserve the credit Girl. You wrote it.” Ezra
added.
“We can’t get to Joonmy to tell him that so let it
be, ok.” Joelle said.
Ezra and Joelle remained quiet for the rest of
the ride. Upon arriving at the cafe, they went
their separate ways.
