“I know but...” Joelle said hesitantly.
“But what?” Ezra asked.
“It’s not a big deal.” Joelle replied.
“Well, it must be a big deal for him because he’s
looking for you.” Ezra said walking towards the
back of the cafe.
Kaia followed her.
“Hey, why is she acting weird? I thought she’d
be excited.” Kaia asked with concern.
“She’s shy, that’s all.” Ezra replied looking into
the cafe from the back.
Joelle got up and waved as she left for work.
“We’ll let you know if we find him.” Ezra yelled.
“Ok” Joelle replied as she waved and closed the
door.
