Djamila, Two

Djamila packed her gun.

She had to get out of here, now.

And that is when Ax decided he could not stay out of this any longer. Would not.

Someone would pay for this. They would all pay for this.

It was at that moment that Ax realized the most important thing he would ever realize. He had been killing for revenge. Ever since Jade it had all been revenge. For Jade, for Cookie, for himself. The whole Rainbow thing, he realized, was just a legal way to take out the bad guy. He smiled a bitter smile. “Well, well, revenge is it?” he said to himself. “Revenge you want? I will fucking show you revenge,” he thought.

Later, when they were mostly all dead Bakr Nadir told his man to call the police and an ambulance. His doctors attended to him, making sure he looked the part. There were people, dead, sprawled on the floor. There were people dying, bent over the table. Some of them were still being sick. Others were just too weak to move.

Obviously, it was a British or American attack. Bastards!

Bakr Nadir sent for the message. He shook his head and his face turned red with anger as he shouted for a phone. The stupid bitch had lost The Rainbow Man. Such incompetence. He had to reach her. He had to reach Djamila, at once.
