Special Acknowledgement: Rohan Laylor Photography
Rohan discovered his strong desire for the photographic arts after his completion of the Advertisement and Graphic Design Program at Humber College. He then continued his photographic studies at Ryerson and the Ontario College of Art and Design.
His shooting techniques and graphic image style is heavily influenced by his design background. Even though most imagery is conceived in the digital realm, Rohan still accesses his ability to use traditional artistic processes such as Polaroid transfers, emulsion lifts, mixed media and classic black and white and color film photography.
His avant-garde approach to imagery coupled with a keen sense of design and how it relates to advertising, allows him to create visuals that stimulates mind, body and soul. His images are often utilized by his clients from the fashion, film, music and advertising industries.
Rohan has acquired many photographic credits over the years. His images have appeared in numerous magazines, such as: French Photo, Sway and Cream World Magazine to name a few. He has photographed some of the most recognized faces in the music and entertainment industry.
