ESTIMATING WEIGHT
In this Lesson, you will learn how to estimate the weight of an object. An estimate is a guess.

Estimate how many pennies a glue stick weighs. Write the estimate on the chalkboard, dry erase board or paper. Measure the actual number of pennies the glue stick weighs using a balance. Write the measurement on the chalkboard, dry erase board or paper.

Estimate how many pennies the crayon and marker weigh. Write the estimates on the chalkboard, dry erase board or paper. Then write the actual number of pennies that each object weighs on the chalkboard, dry erase board or paper.
