Straightforward Tactics

One of the most effective concepts I have learned in martial arts is CWCT, "Closest Weapon Closest Target".

To give a small example, take two fighters squared off, both in ready stances with arms in the fighting position.

Now take a minute to think where CWCT could be applied in that situation, what would be the weapon on your body that is closest to your opponent? What would be the closest part of your opponent’s body that is closest to your weapon? That is the mentality of CWCT.

First lets start with the basics. Here we will list 30 basic moves, ranging from strikes, blocks to kicks.
