Forward

God does not tell us just because the 21st Century has arrived, and society decides wickedness, and immorality are the way of the future that mankind can determine, change, interpret his law to fit and promote their own ideology. God’s law is not available for legislative consideration, nor is it the U.S. Constitution where sin, corruption, and lawyers can decide to step in and manipulatively create loopholes to advance their agenda.
Your righteousness is everlasting and your law is true.

Psalm 119:142

In truth, God is not a religion, nor a political party, a conservative, liberal, or an independent. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The Word and characteristics of God never changes. The prophets teach us that God is eternally the same. His truth is immutably unchangeable. It is mankind who takes positions, chooses sides, and then stamps labels upon our difference of beliefs. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

God is the Creator of love, and the natural relationships between a man and a woman. Homosexuals hate that concept, which in reality is the truth. Throughout the bible God instructs mankind to go forth and multiply and have dominion over the earth. God instructs mankind on love, marriage, and sexual relationships. God also instructs mankind against the immoral sexual and sinful nature of fornication, lust, and homosexuality. There is no scripture or passage found in the bible that approves, or contributes to any good or right homosexual relationship. Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Hebrews 13:4, Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24, Matt 19:5; I Cor 6:16; Eph 5:31-33

Chapter 1

The Word of God

What is Gods Law according to his Word?
Gods’ law is found throughout the Holy Bible, which is also known as his Word. Law is described as a rule of conduct or action, or an order that it is advisable or obligatory to observe. Gods law is also a rule and conduct to comply and pursue. The Word of God is distinguished as the Bible, which is a written combination of characters representing his spoken word. And His Word became man.
You have been regenerated born again, not from a mortal origin but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God. 1 Peter 1:23

The New Testament is the sacred scripture in accordance with Christian faith. The Holy Bible is comprised of the Old Testament and the New Testament, which is considered Gods book of instruction for all people. His gift to mankind, its pages are filled with truth, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and a cross to bridge the people from their sins to resurrection and eternal life.
Then He opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures,

Luke 24:45

The enemies of faith will argue that the Bible is just a book, verses written by man. They are presumptuous, and without knowledge of the truth. But the answer is yes scribes wrote the book. These men who were chosen by God, men who were
inspired and filled with the Holy Spirit, appointed and ordained by God to be the authors of his Word.
I was inaugurated and ordained from everlasting, from the beginning, before ever the earth existed. Proverbs 8:23

Think logic for a moment. Logic is considered the science of the formal principles of reasoning, a branch of
knowledge. God created the Heavens, Earth, and Universe. God created all living things, including mankind, his most precious possession. Why would God leave his creation without any history, validity, instruction and knowledge of himself? Gods love and commitment to us is endless, and through His Word he creates a bond, love, devotion, and an avenue of relationship for our love and worship of him. It would be illogical for God to create us, and then leave us without any cognizance and
understanding of our Creator and his will for humanity. His desire to bring us close, and into an ever-lasting relationship with him. Remember your leaders and superiors in authority brought to you the Word of God. Observe attentively and consider their manner of living and imitate their faith their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider and Bestower of eternal salvation through Christ, and their leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness. Hebrews 13:7

The Ten Commandments can be found in the Old Testament of the Bible inside Exodus, Chapter 20. These were given directly by God to Moses and the people of Israel on Mount Sinai.
And God spoke all these words, saying:

I am the LORD your God.

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me. Exodus 20:5

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image;
Let all those be put to shame who serve graven images, who boast in idols. Fall prostrate before Him, all you gods.

Psalm 97:7

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain;
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in falsehood or without purpose; Deuteronomy 5:11

4. Remember the Sabbath, and keep it holy. But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, your daughter, your manservant, your maidservant, your domestic animals, or the sojourner within your gates; Exodus 20:10

5. Honor thy father and thy mother.
Regard treat with honor, due obedience, and courtesy, your father and mother that your days may be long in the land the Lord your God gives you; Exodus 20:12

6. Thou shalt not kill;

You shall not commit murder. Exodus 20:13

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
You shall not commit premarital relations, sexual impurity, and lustful desire under whatever name, Not only is adultery forbidden here, but also fornication and all kinds of mental and sensual uncleanness. All impure books, songs, pictures, etc., which tend to inflame and debauch the mind are against this law; Exodus 20:14

8. Thou shalt not steal.
You shall not steal, or deal falsely, or lie one to another; Leviticus 19:11

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor;
You shall not repeat or raise a false report; you shall not join with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. Exodus 23:1

10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, nor anything that is thy neighbor's. Neither shall you covet your neighbor's wife, nor desire your neighbor's house, his field, his manservant or his maidservant, his ox or his donkey, or anything that is your
neighbor's; Deuteronomy 5:21

In the New Testament Jesus gives us new commands to “love one another as I have loved you, by this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another”. He wants us to love one another unconditionally and not based on outward appearances. However he does not want us to love and approve of others sins or wickedness, but rather to become a lamp of light and truth for those who are lost. He gives two basic rules to live life by, “Love God with all of your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself.” Love being the operative word, unconditional and giving, just as Jesus does.
Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the Law, tested him with this question: Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments

Matthew 22:34-40

Free Will

Choice is the opportunity, power, or privilege of choosing freely. In a free society choice provides us with the chance of making our own decisions, and drawing upon our own conclusions. The decisions we make will not always be the right choice for everyone involved. These choices could possibly produce a harmful or negative effect on us, and quite possibly upon others as well.
The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline. Proverbs 1:7

We often speak, and preach about our rights, the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled. Entitlement, believing we deserve certain privileges. Why, and to what makes our society feel as if it is so
reasonably entitled? As a free nation, we lay claim to certain freedoms, freedoms we receive at the expense of others. Our men, and women of the military are just one example.
as free people, without employing your freedom as a pretext for wickedness; but live at all times as servants of God. Peter 2:16

God grants us free will. The law provides us specific freedoms described as liberation from slavery or restraint, or from the oppression and power of another. Our freedoms, our rights are a privilege, a favor and benefit, an advantage that we have over many other nations and other people. Are we a people of gratitude, or a spoiled people of self-indulgence?

For people will be lovers of self and selfcentered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate, desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.
2 Timothy 3:2

In our personal, and private lives we make choices everyday that can lead us to either wonderful blessings or sinful destruction. Our willful sin can destroy our relationships, marriages, families, jobs, reputations, and can possibly be the destruction of our own life.
If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it. Genesis 4:7

What are Idolatry, and other gods? Idolatry is the worship, attachment, and devotion to something or someone other than Almighty God the Creator. False gods are referred to as “idols”, meaning a false conception, and representation of an agent of divinity or reverence. The culture of the 21st century is filled with idol worship, fame, and self-glorification among them. Anyone, or anything else seems almost more acceptable to worship than the one true God. You will suffer the penalty for your lewdness and bear the consequences of your sins of idolatry. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD." Ezekiel 23:49

Idolatry or so-called “idols” can be a person, money, possessions, vanity, hate, and graven images. These other “gods” are worshipped with an extreme devotion. Other gods separate mankind from the one true and Almighty God. Without a repentant heart, sin will separate man from God for eternity.
For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry;
1 Peter 4:3

What are Graven images?
A graven image is an object of worship carved usually from wood or stone. In Exodus, the graven image was made out of gold, and carved to resemble a cow, that the people held in high esteem and worship with the expectation of it leading them out of the desert and into the Promised Land. Therefore speak to them and tell them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When any Israelite sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face and then goes to a prophet, I the LORD will answer him myself in keeping with his great idolatry. Ezekiel 14:4

Graven images were the super human “gods of the Greeks” myths and legends, carved out of stone to be worshipped by the people.

Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry;1 Corinthians 10:14

I have often heard Catholicism accused of idol worship, and usually by persons who have no understanding of what they are speaking about. Catholics neither worship, nor do they put their faith in idle wood or stone. The images of faith painted and sculpted, are a divine art representing and honoring a Holy Trinity, and the blessed mother of Jesus.
To a girl never having been married and a virgin engaged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. Luke 1:27

Catholics do not bow down to a mere statue, or give homage to a lifeless image. Catholics pray giving reverence to the Holiness in which the image represents. When you want to remember or reflect on a particular person or time, a photograph can be an ideal visual in bringing about a clear image, so too is it with Catholic replicas. Let peoples serve you and nations bow down to you; be master over your brothers, and let your mother's sons bow down to you. Let everyone be cursed who curses you and favored with blessings who blesses you. Genesis 27:29

Is the name of God holy?
Yes, the name of God is truly holy. God is divine, exalted, and worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness. God is the blessed Creator, his name is held above all in reverence, honor and worship.
I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. Psalm 69:30

Mankind is instructed not to use Gods name in vain, reducing it as if it has no value or worth. All day long people choose to speak without any respect, to curse, and to use profanely insolent language against other people or possessions by cursing them, and damning Gods name. We all fall short, we all sin. Only through a repentant heart do we receive grace.
For I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Concede and ascribe greatness to our God.

Deuteronomy 32:3

Is the Sabbath important?
The Sabbath is the seventh day of the week observed from Friday evening to Saturday evening as a day of rest and worship by Jews, and by some Christians. Sunday is commonly observed among Christians as the day for rest, prayer and worshipping the Lord. But how many actually do?
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy Exodus 20:8

If God created such a time and day to set a apart from all the other days for rest and worship, then it must have been important to him that we obey and comply with his Word. A day of rest and worship was created for our benefit, for our
relationship, and for our worship of a Holy and Good God. A special day to come together in unity and prayer.
Say to the Israelites, Truly you shall keep My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you set you apart for Myself. Exodus 31:13

How do we Honor our parents? Parents (biological) are those who beget or bring forth their offspring into the world. A parent is the person who brings up and cares for a child (also non biological). Parents are supposed to love, raise, protect and nurture their children. Children are a gift from God. Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee. Exodus 20:12

Children should treat their parents with honor, deserving of respect and high or special regard. God instructs the child to honor their parents, not the parents to honor their children. However, the bible teaches us to love and discipline our children, and to respect and love one another in a godly way. Honor thy father and mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Matthew 19:19

Is killing the same as murder?
To kill is to deprive of life by causing the death. To murder is the crime of unlawfully killing a person, something outrageous and blameworthy.
And if he struck him down by throwing a stone, by which a person may die, and he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death. Numbers 35:17

To kill someone or something in an act during a special circumstance is acceptable, such as killing another in need of protecting ones self, and in time of war. This is a time to shield yourself from injury and
destruction. God has instructed his people into war and killing during times of battle. The Lord is a Man of War; the Lord is His name. Exodus 15:3

Who is guilty of adultery?
Adultery is an act of voluntary sexual intercourse between a married man and someone other than his wife, or between a married woman and someone other than her husband. Adultery is a sin of choice. But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks heart and understanding moral principle and prudence; he who does it is destroying his own life. Proverbs 6:32

Marriage is an intimate or close union, it is a state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law. Marriage is the tradition and celebration of uniting a man and a woman together. Marriage is the profession and declaration of two peoples love and commitment to one another.
Take wives and have sons and daughters; take wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, that they may bear sons and daughters; multiply there, and do not be diminished. Jeremiah 29:6

Adultery is always a heated topic in divorce, and usually the end to any
relationship. Divorce is the action or an instance of legally dissolving the marriage. Someone is always going to suffer in a divorce, the husband, the wife, and most assuredly the children.
For the Lord, the God of Israel says: I hate divorce and marital separation and him who covers his garment, his wife with violence. Therefore keep a watch upon your spirit that it may be controlled by My Spirit, that you deal not treacherously and faithlessly with your marriage mate. Malachi 2:16

Who is a thief?
Stealing is taking the property of another wrongfully with the intent to keep or make use of it without permission. The thief is the one who commits the crime or larceny. Now he did not say this because he cared for the poor but because he was a thief; and having the bag, he took for himself what was put into it. John 12:6

Who bears false witness?
To bear false witness against another is to deceive and give a false testimony. An act of lying against a neighbor, a friend, a family member, and even a stranger is to bear false witness.
He who breathes out truth shows forth
righteousness, but a false witness utters deceit. Proverbs 12:17

When revealing personal or
sensational facts about others on the basis of a non-factual rumor, even such as
unrighteous gossip, is to bear false witness against another person.
YOU SHALL not repeat or raise a false report; you shall not join with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. Exodus 23:1

What does it mean to Covet?
To covet is to feel an inordinate desire and wish for what belongs to another person. To desire another’s husband, wife, child, home, possessions, job, and life, is to sin against your neighbor and yourself.
And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness; for a man's life does not consist in and is not derived
from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs. Luke 12:15

Chapter 3

The Christian and Jesus

What is a Christian?
A Christian is one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus. Jesus is known by people of faith as the Jewish religious teacher and the Messiah, whose life, death, and resurrection as reported by the Evangelists are the basis of the Christian message of salvation.
And there was given Him, the Messiah, dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom is one, which shall not be destroyed. Daniel 7:14

Christians are also known as the, believers and followers of Christ, they accept and assist in spreading the doctrines of Jesus. The teachings of Jesus, also known as the Gospels, one of the first four New Testament books telling of the life, death, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ whose message concerns the kingdom of God, and the salvation of sins.
And many people there became believers in Him. They adhered to and trusted in and relied on Him. John 10:42

Christian faith is the belief, trust, and devotion to almighty God, and a testimony to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Faith is the belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion, a firm belief and strong conviction in something for which there is no proof, and a complete trust in ones spiritual relationship with the Lord. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a Shield to all those who trust and take refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31

Christians believe and accept Jesus as the Son of God, born of a Virgin. They believe he was born to rescue us, died to save us, and rose to give us eternal life in Heaven with God. Christians accept Jesus as the one true Messiah. The Messiah; is known in the Old Testament as the expected king and the deliverer of the Jews.

And upon hearing it, they adored and exalted and praised and thanked God. And they said to Paul, You see, brother, how many thousands of believers there are among the Jews, and all of them are enthusiastic upholders of the Law. Acts 21:20

The first Christians were Jewish, known as the disciples of Jesus. The disciples were the inner circles of Christ’s followers who accepted him, and assisted in spreading the doctrines of Jesus. The first disciples are also known as the twelve apostles; Bartholomew, James Minor, Andrew, Peter also called Simon Peter, Judas Iscariot, John, Thomas, James Major, Philip, Matthew, Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite.
And He said to them, Come after Me, follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men! Matthew 4:19

These twelve apostles are also credited as the beginning of the New Testament church. A church is commonly understood as the body or organization of religious believers that come together under one roof for a religious worship of the Lord.
AND JESUS summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out, and to cure all kinds of disease and all kinds of weakness and infirmity. Matthew 10:1

The true meaning of a Christian is not the person who just attends a church, and sits in the pews, or pretends to listen to the Pastor deliver his message from the pulpit. A Christian is not someone who simply proclaims to be a Christian for social standing. In fact a true Christian is the person who listens and studies the Word because they hunger for truth. One, who believes and accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior, trusts that he died for our sins and rose again with the promise given for those who believe in him for eternal life.
And whoever continues to live and believes in, has faith in, cleaves to, and relies on Me shall never die. Do you believe this? John 11:26

Religion and Spirituality may be a core foundation and basis for faith, but the two are very different. Religion is a practice, and tradition of mans way of worshipping their God. Religion is an institutionalized system of religious attitudes, and beliefs. Spirituality is relating to sacred matters, being joined in the spirit and in a
relationship to God.
I had heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my spiritual eye sees You. Job 42:5

A Christian should be more interested in their relationship with the Lord,
connecting and binding the existence of our inner soul with the one we worship. Our personal relationship with God is more valuable and filled with grace than any tradition or practice of motions. It is in our spirit where faith and hope reside.
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29

Am I saying that only a Christian is saved?
It isn’t for me to say, however it is for Jesus to say. Jesus taught us we must be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven”. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Christian Trinity. The Holy Spirit resided in Jesus, and comes to reside in us, to bear witness and
truth in us.
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive,
because it does not behold Him or
know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." John 14:16-18

The world is made up of two types, the believers in Christ, and the non-believers, those who choose to believe, and those who choose not to believe, the choice and free will is ours. People of faith, see what they believe, and they have a spiritual vision, their purpose is Jesus. Saturated in the Holy Spirit with a hunger for Christ. Nonbelievers only believe what they can see, they live in the world, and for the world, and their highest regard is for “self”.
For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers' minds that they should not discern the truth, preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ Who is the Image and Likeness of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

I’ve often been amazed, and insulted when listening to certain people who profess to be Christians trying to justify their beliefs contrary to the Word, when in reality they are pushing an agenda to fit their needs and standards. “A bad apple in every barrel”, so too are there bad apples infiltrated in Christianity. Unfortunately the “bad apple Christians” can leave a bad taste in the unbeliever’s mouth concerning all of Christianity.
You shall not repeat or raise a false report; you shall not join with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. Exodus 23:1
