It's Galatea, of course. i was expecting a total rip-off of Rick Cook's Wizard's Bane, but this story takes a sharp turn at the start that saves it from being a "me too". The wizardry (er, sorcery) is interpreted, rather than compiled, but it's still the same tech trope. Sorcery Code is good, and well written, and the characters sustain interest, but the ending is abrupt and only lightly foreshadowed. An afterword would be welcome, both to soften the ending and to set the stage for sequellae. I sense the author's impatience and desire to move on to #2 of n. Give it three stars (although, to be fair, many five-star rated efforts are no better).

Didn't know what i was getting into much, but it is a great book that makes you want to read more as the characters develop in this great romance novel with both great action and fantasy. Defiantly recommend this book 5 stars

A great read. The characters have selfish personal motivations, each tormented by their past. There are power struggles and political intrigue.

Boy! I was disappointed when the story got more interesting and I wanted to turn another page and viola, it's finished. The Best Constructive Sci-Fic I've read.
