Conclusion

During the last phone call with my brother, I could decipher all the changes that had come to his soul and being. He was humble, polite and gentle with a low voice and with all the manners and courtesies a gentleman could have. Talking, communicating and interacting constantly with civil people brought benign changes in him dramatically. He was much smarter and understanding too. With one semester left, I asked him if he was on the lookout for a proper job. What he replied completely took me up by surprise. He said, “I would like to follow your footsteps and look for a career in teaching.” My brother had even a change in his attitude towards me. While he was at home with me initially, he had always liked to make fun of me and had always remarked that teaching was hardly his cup of tea and that he would like to work in industry. All the changes I noticed in him during the short phone call kept me thinking afterwards. Could a person really change like that when he was exposed all by himself to life’s challenges? Perhaps, I reflected.

I am sorry I could not end this book like a fairytale story with a prince marrying a princess and living happily ever after. But we could all hold a vision together including you, the reader for my brother. Here goes:

“My bright and unique brother graduates from the university. His GPA is good and he is now on the lookout for a job in the area of teaching. He gets his dream job just the way he wanted. He finds out his perfect princess partner as well. He gets married to her and begins to live happily ever after.”

With this luminous and beautiful vision in mind, I happily close the chapter of my book, “A Bright and Unique Sibling”.
