It’s Raining, It’s Raining All The Time

It’s Raining, It’s Raining All The Time
I don’t see sunshine on my horizon just a dead sun when thunder flies in
Lightning breaks my forever darkness never wanting to be a part of this
Tired of my life, tired of the drama, tired of hate...of everything and the game
Tired of your white, what do you know of pain, it’s always the same in the rain
It’s Raining, It’s Raining All The Time
Whether its with broken wings or on bended knee
I foresee nothing happy, the main punch line in God’s comedy routine
A blank book to read storm clouds as far as I can see
No happy ending or ever after nothing but ruins with added disaster
No angels here, no saving grace, no God above just water beneath
It’s Raining, It’s Raining All The Time
On this chessboard of life, it’s always checkmate, no second chance or sideways eight
In one second it’s gone, two no contest, three I’d never exist.
Wings so broken I never flew, the truth is that dreams never come true.
I never knew the bottom until I hit the floor only to realize I fall a few feet more.
And just when I think I’ve hit rock bottom the ground splits and God says “Got’em”!
All I see is rain and I just keep walking, so I guess I’ll keep walking
Which is nothing new, always been done, in a rhythm of two
Even when somebody hands me an umbrella “just in case” all I see is the frown on my face
Waiting for a bus that’ll never come I think, I think I’m done
The rain will always block my sun
It’s Raining, It’s Raining All The Time
The End
