"Well," Lisa was thinking of a lie to tell but she didn't like the one that her mind was leaning towards. After a couple of seconds of silence, she was forced to use it.

"I don't have money." Scotty wasn't buying it but he figured that if he was to get back to what he was doing he had to just give her the ticket and hope she doesn't sit next to him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his and her ticket. He handed the nameless ticket to her. She took it without a word and signaled that he moved his luggage.

"Oh come on...there's a pair of empty seats right there." He almost sounded like a little boy, he really didn't want her to sit next to him.

"The ticket number always corresponds with the seat number and I'm not going to break the law on your account." She almost smiled to herself. She liked the way she sounded like a law abiding citizen. Scotty wasn't enjoying the scene she was setting.

 

And the last thing he wanted was for a fan to greet him in front her.
