"You know, I think you're a nice guy. You should talk more." Scotty wiped his mouth with napkin and turned to her.

"Believe me, it's better this way." His face was blank but his eyes brimmed with an excitement caused by the delicious food. Lisa didn't quite know how to take his words but the seriousness with which he said them really showed her that he meant his words.

Scotty felt a slight rush of pitty as he silenced Lisa. He had bought two energy drinks for the remainder of the journey. Knowing that she too enjoyed the same flavour, he offered her one.

"Here, don't go kill yourself." He wasn't sorry for how he acted and he hoped the gesture showed her that he didn't mean to hurt her.
