A few hours later, all their enthusiasm about getting away had all but disappeared.
If anything, at least the temperature was dropping, but the team itself had barely eaten in days and quite poorly when it had. What’s more, they only had a few more days’ worth of MREs for the prisoners and then those would be gone too.
