I have many wise people to sincerely thank for giving me the courage and power to reveal all these thoughts that could otherwise have remained unsaid and unwritten. These helpful individuals include my grandparents, parents, my own family members, my teachers and my faithful friends.
As a son of an experienced and successful farmer my initial learning came from the rural environment, the creatures that surrounded us and the crops that flourished on our farm. They had no words but their actions and conduct made me learn a lot of talents and useable characteristics of humanity. I have great admiration for all of these silent teachers.
My wife Ganga N Prasad, who has proofread the manuscript and done the graphics and she also deserves my hearty appreciation for honouring me by being my wife.
My special thanks go to Prushottam (David) Reddy, the then President of the Students’ Council at the College we were together and my high school mentor at Natabua for writing the Prologue for this publication.
Then Shiu Charan the past President of the Fiji Teachers’ Union has been my great support because we worked together in many educational institutions of Fiji and he has been my high school and college mate as well. He is sincerely thanked for writing the Epilogue for this publication.
There are many others who deserve my appreciation but they are too many to list all of them down here. Thank you all for your continuous support and cooperation in making my life full of fun and flavor. If I ever get inspired to pick up my pen again I will just write songs and poems.
