Siemens Artis Hearing Aids And Their Popularity

Siemens hearing aids sell very well and on the market they produce 20 percent of the hearing aids on sale. One of their best products is the Siemens Artis hearing aids and there are lots of reasons why they are popular.

The latest model that they have come up with is the Artis 2, with many features that make it more desirable. They are fitted with the e2e wireless technology so that even if you are wearing a hearing aid in each ear this Siemens Artis Hearing Aid acts as one unit. There is no need to adjust one aid to correct the volume then the other as it is synchronized with one button. Each aid is fitted with a microphone to collect sound and the circuitry processes it before sending as sound to the ear. They are different in that they are linked by directionality and control. There is also a remote control device called the ePocket which can control both aids together so that it is easier to work.

The Siemens Artis hearing aids are fitted with a system which collects data about the person and the setting levels and volume that they use the most. Eventually, over a short period the adjustments become automatic, by DataLearning which is like tivo technology. The Artis 2 also has DataLogging, which makes a record of all the data which is useful for the audiologist to read to adjust your aid at the next fitting.

Siemens Artis hearing aids have the advanced technology of being able to distinguish clearly between speech sounds and background noises, so that speech sounds are emphasized. This is done by using the many channels and frequency bands automatically which makes them such a breeze to use.

Siemens Artis hearing aids are also fitted with eWindscreen so that when wind is around your ears and making your hearing aids whistle, it can actually reduce this or cut it out altogether. Feedback is also controlled well, which is the squealing noise you normally hear as someone is putting in their aid or adjusting it. A hearing aid that isn't well made can squeal in other situations but you won't get this feedback at all with a Siemens.

The hearing aids also come with the Autophone feature. This enables a person to be able to talk on the phone whilst they are wearing a hearing aid. When the receiver of the phone is place up to the ear, it automatically comes on, with a small beep to indicate that it is on. It automatically goes off when the phone is taken away from the ear.

Another version of the Siemens Artis hearing aids is the Siemens Artis Life. Most of the features are very much like the Artis 2 - the added bonus is how comfortable it is as a BTE hearing aid and how tiny it is so it is less visible. When a person has to wear ear plugs all day they get the feeling of being clogged up so it is a relief to take them out. This is the occlusion effect which is eliminated with the Artis Life.

This is the best hearing aid on offer by Siemens currently. With its many features which it make it comfortable to wear, with ease of use and its accuracy, it is no wonder the Siemens Artis hearing aid has gained in the popularity stakes.
