Charlie Dickinson's story collection, The Cat at Light's End, represents his first published fiction. all to the Web, beginning with acceptance of "Marbles on the Loose" at Blue Moon Review, Summer 1998 issue. The plucky story, "The Cat at Light's End," rejected at the hands of more than 120 small print journals finally found its Web home at Eclectica, January/February 1998, making it Dickinson's second-accepted, but first published story.
Twelve more stories followed, including "Steps," Mississippi Review, January 2000, and "La Mosca," Amarillo Bay, May 2001, and also nominated for e2ink-1, The Best of Online Journals 2002.
Dickinson was born in Los Angeles, California, and attended Tulsa Central High School, California State University at Northridge, and the University of California at Los Angeles. Dickinson now lives and writes in Portland, Oregon, and maintains a blog at cosmicplodding.net.
