Evil Grey

Coming on like a swirling whizzer

from the toybox of your heart

but strangely, I need you now

here away from the hiding halls

pulling you into the white

and away from the evil grey

smiling with teeth so ready, so dazzle me

run around in my head, so I don’t need to

dread the moment you start closing in

and your smile melts into fangs

and your eyes, now empty and void

await possession

if it’s just me, I can turn away

can I turn away?

coming on, I feed you now

live in the footlights

before crawling the empty halls

into sight and the evil grey
