The mover hauls the remains of Levon’s portable toilet from the back of the van. The object has been crushed flat. A slimy mix of soil and pulverized Soma mushrooms is oozing from the layers of sandwiched plastic. The mover throws it into the fire pit. The mushrooms and plastic sizzle in the flames.
LEVON
You’re burning the Soma? The frig why?
CLEANER
We’ve probably synthesized the active chemicals. A wild version is untenable!
LEVON
You’re gonna burn everything here?
CLEANER
Incinerators are a new centrepiece of our services.
LEVON

CLEANER
Why? Why? Because Central Computer says so. It's more profitable to buy and destroy the new products than it is to compete with them.
