Levon wakes up alone. He sits up on his longboard and surveys the area. The island is home to a small recycling and incineration centre called Renew.us. The employees of Renew.us live inside the recycling centre in communal cottages. Levon watches a thick plume of smoke snake into the air above Renew.us. He hears the faint sound of women singing. He follows the voices.
