Chapter 8

The sun rose for the start of Wednesday morning in the Phoenix area of Arizona.

Amy woke up and went to the bathroom down at the end of the hallway. Her walk down the hall was a tad slower and a tad hunched over.

She pulled down her pajama bottoms and sat down on the toilet. While she peed, she noticed more spider veins developed around the inside of her ankles. She also saw her toenails had a light yellow color indicating some fungus. "Crap!" she quietly said while she looked at her feet.

After she peed, she removed the top of her pajamas, and something felt different. She glanced down at her chest and noticed her boobs started to sag. "No! Please don't sag," she cried out while she shoved them up with her hand. But the second she let go of the pair they sagged back down.

She moped over to the shower, got inside, and turned on the hot water.

After her shower, she got dressed in her mom's pants and blouse.

After their small breakfast of toasted English muffins and coffee, Wilma and Amy relaxed with some small talk in the living room while they watched Good Morning America

A little while later, Wilma and Amy were in her Ford Escort while they drove down the streets of Phoenix.

Wilma drover her Escort five miles under the speed limit and this drove Amy nuts.

Thirty minutes later, Wilma and Amy were inside Dillard's at the Desert Sky Mall. This was a store that Amy would never buy clothes from, but Wilma insisted they had a grand selection of stylish outfits.

After twenty minutes of checking out all the clothes on the racks, Amy finally accepted some pants, and blouses she wouldn't mind placing on her body. They stood at the checkout counter where the female cashier was scanning the outfits into the cash register.

"That will be two hundred and fifty-seven dollars and forty-eight cents," the cashier told Amy.

"Oh crap, mom only gave me one hundred dollars," Amy told Wilma.

The female cashier thought Amy's comment was odd that an old lady was getting money from her mother. Her mom must be over one hundred! The female cashier thought to herself while she looked at Amy and Wilma.

Wilma opened up her purse and removed her credit card. "Plastic will solve the day," Wilma said while she handed the cashier her credit card.

"Thanks, Aunt Wilma," Amy said.

The female cashier looked a little confused with Amy. "Did you call her Aunt Wilma?"

"Ah," was all Amy could muster up for a reply.

"Oh, don't mind her. She's getting forgetful sometimes," Wilma replied then discreetly made a crazy face at the cashier to indicate Amy was loony.

The cashier nodded that she understood and processed Wilma's credit card.

A little while later, Amy, with her shopping bags full of clothes, strolled around the mall with Wilma.

Two college hunks, Rodney and Kenny, walked up behind Amy and Wilma where traffic was now thick with shoppers.

Rodney and Kenny got irritated with not being able to move around the two slow old ladies.

"I hate it when old geezers walk so slow," Rodney told Kenny.

"I'm with you," Kenny replied while he just wanted to smack Amy and Wilma the back of their heads for being so slow.

"Move a little faster you old hags!" Rodney yelled out inches behind Amy and Wilma.

Wilma and Amy jumped startled and turned around.

Amy smiled and looked interested at the sight of Rodney and Kenny.

"Could you put it in high gear? I want to make it out of this mall before I retire in forty years," Kenny yelled at Amy and Wilma.

Amy's stomach gurgled, and she farted.

Rodney and Kenny sniffed the air and looked sick.

"Gross! Old lady gas!" Rodney said while he pinched off his nose

Amy turned red with embarrassment.

"Don't worry about it, dear, it goes with being old," Wilma told Amy.

Kenny and Rodney pushed their way through Amy and Wilma, almost knocking the two ladies down to the floor.

Kenny and Rodney rushed away.

Wilma flipped the two college hunks the finger while they rushed off down the mall.

Amy and Wilma walked around the mall for another ten minutes.

"Let's go grab some lunch," Wilma asked Amy.

Amy nodded in agreement, and they headed toward the Sbarro's fast-food Italian restaurant located near Sears.

The second Amy and Wilma got near Sbarro's they saw Kenny and Rodney flirting at a table with two attractive college girls.

"There are those two jerks," Amy said when she saw Kenny at Rodney with the two girls.

Wilma's eyes it up with an evil idea. "Follow my lead," Wilma told Amy.

Amy didn't have a clue what Wilma was talking about but followed her while she walked up behind Rodney and Kenny.

"How could you!" Wilma cried out loud enough so everybody at the nearby tables could hear.

Kenny, Rodney and the two girls turned around and saw Amy and Wilma behind them.

"Excuse me?" Kenny said and looked a little confused.

"You said you loved me," Wilma blurted out and pretended to look hurt.

"I what?" Kenny said, really confused.

"You said you loved me after we had that beautiful night of passion," Wilma said while she placed a hand on Kenny's shoulder.

"What?" Kenny cried out and moved to freed Wilma's hand away from his shoulder.

"You said you wanted to be my nursing home lover forever!" Wilma yelled out and pretended to be pissed.

It dawned on Amy what Wilma was doing, and she loved the game of revenge she was playing.

"And you told me that you loved me after that night of heated sex," Amy told Rodney, and she pretended to look hurt.

"I what?" Rodney cried out, and he looked confused.

"You also said you wanted to be my nursing home lover forever," Amy told Rodney and looked hurt.

Kenny and Rodney looked around and noticed that all the people stopped eating at the nearby tables and watched the show.

The two girls with Kenny and Rodney started to become disinterested in the guys.

"I'm sorry, but I've never seen you in my life," Kenny said and started to get embarrassed.

"So is that the kind of guy you are? You're very loving until after you get your rocks off," Wilma said in a raised tone and stormed off.

Amy stormed away after Wilma.

The two girls looked at each other and nodded in agreement on leaving. They got up from the table and walked away from Kenny and Rodney.

The two college hunks sat there, stunned over what just happened.

"I can't believe you would do that," Amy said to Wilma while they rushed away.

"Those jerks deserved it," Wilma replied with a smirk.

Amy smiled at Wilma and started to see her in a different light.

During the drive home back to Wilma's house, those two college guys started Amy thinking about Paul. She removed her cell phone from her jeans pocket and typed out a text message to Laurie. "Do you know what Paul's doing?" she typed out for her message.

Back at the Paradise Valley mall, Laurie walked around the mall with Jake. Since Amy was out of pocket for spring break, Laurie decided to start hanging around with Jake with hopes of some serious dating.

While they walked around the mall, her cell phone buzzed. She removed her cell phone from her pocket and looked at the viewfinder. She saw Amy's "Where's Paul?" text message and pondered for a few seconds on how to respond. She deleted the message and shoved the cell phone back into her pocket.

Back in Wilma's car, Amy waited for Laurie's text message reply.

Hours later, Amy sat with Wilma in her living room while they watched TV. Amy had her cell phone in her hand and started to worry about Laurie, not replying to her text message.

The rest of the evening was quite uneventful for Amy, and she retired early to the bedroom.

Amy was under the covers and had her cell phone in her hand. She started to get upset since Laurie never replied to her text message, so she called her.

Meanwhile, Laurie was hanging out over at Jake's house with him, Paul and about five other kids from school.

They were in the backyard having a pool party in Jake's heated swimming pool.

Laurie just got out of the pool and walked back to her lounge chair when her cell phone rang. She picked it up and looked at the viewfinder and noticed Amy was calling. She turned off her cell phone, grabbed her towel, and dried off her body while she watched Paul flirting with Suzie Comer.

Back at Wilma's house, Amy got the "Caller Unavailable" message in her cell phone viewfinder.

She looked worried sick while she turned off her cell phone and stared at the ceiling. "My friends don't want me," she said while her eyes welled up.
