The Woman In My Dreams
A long time ago I had a dream about a woman in my life
The images were so strong that I decided to make her my wife
Years went by and the dreams kept coming in different stages
Sometimes they were sweet and sometimes I found myself in cages
At last I found the girl of my dreams at a juncture I well remember
We began to enjoy life and had a lot of fun to make life worth remember
The woman of my dreams was now my real image and my family life
She was the strength behind all my success and became my beloved wife
The hair, eyes and brows were all so proverbial that I get lost in them
How time and events passed for over fifty years we lost count of them
Suddenly all my wishes faded and the time came for her to depart
Her eyes told me to keep my dreams alive and treasure her in my heart
I now dream about the woman in my life as if everything is true and fine
But in reality my heart and soul keep the belief that she will always be mine.
